TitanFall is very very likely a timed exclusive. So your biggest reason for why Xbox games win at E3, just flopped.....hard.

Also if Xbox got the most awards/nominees, I bet it's because of TitanFall....so thread//

What difference does this make if you have a PS4 and can't play soon as it comes out?

No difference? It's only a couple months, it's not worth buying an X-Box console over a PS4, just so I can play a single game a few months earlier. I'd be missing out on all the true PS4 exclusives which I can never play on a One.

Why are you sitting here acting like Xbox has no exclusives? This is funny. You're saying the same about Xbox also right? Have they announced that it's coming to PS4 yet? Or date? You're speculating man. Eventually may come true but still.

Did I ever say the One has no exclusives? Did I reference the 360 at all?

Since you mention it though, the 360 did have a lot of timed exclusives when it released, so that's more reason to expect at least a few One exclusives to go multiplatform. I know I did buy a 360 partly because of Lost Planet, but if I only owned a 360, I would have for sure regretted it since Microsoft eventually abandoned the 360 years before replacing it. Lost Planet a few months early in sacrifice of the dozen more AAA exclusives PS3 has over 360 hmm....

I think my assumptions hold about One. If people are interested in it specifically because of TitanFall, well.....the smart ones would wait and see how much 3rd party devs really support Microsoft.

Well damn I didn't mention the 360. Seems like you just wanted to say what you wanted to say.

& according to you anyone who buys TitanFall on Xbox is dumb? Really dude?

Not sure why you are complaining.  I'd prefer to play it day 1 than 6 months to a year later.  Also this game is relying on cloud features for certain things which is why it is being touted to have X1 being the best version.  Everytime TitanFall gets mentioned you have a barage of comments like this yet nothing has been confirmed yet.  If it does then yay for sony gamers but until then these comments are annoying to say the least.  Either way it isnt going to stop a ton of people buying this game when it gets released.  Timed exclusives always sell more than the counter part.  And yes many people including me are buying the X1 for this very game so apparently it worked.

So you would prefer X number of exclusives Day 1, but you can't play # number of other "exclusives", or would you rather have # number of exclusives day 1, and you have to wait 6 months for # number of other "exclusives."

Makes sense, in your case you get half the exclusives, in my case I get the bulk of them, but I have to wait for half.

---

Also Titanfall is available on PC and 360. A PS4 is $100 less then a 360, and wouldya know what? A 360 is often only $130 on sale, less if you buy a used one. Still makes a lot more sense to buy a PS4, you know get shorthanded when exclusives stop flowing in 3-4 years.

You're right a ton of people will buy this game, for the One, PC, 360, and likely the PS4 too.

Microsoft abandoned the 360 years before replacing it?

We're not stupid, gamers know all about gaming PR and "no comment" means somethings up. 1"No" means they are not making the game multiplat. This will most likely end up being just like all the other timed exclusives MS pulled at the beginning of the generation that eventually came to the PS3. We're growing more intelligent as consumers, and 2MS figured that out first hand.

1- So did they say yes? And where in the article.

2- I thought Sony figured that out with a $600 console first.

And where did you read timed exclusive? Share your knowledge.

LOL

When has a dev ever confirmed a game was a timed exclusive before release? Lost Planet? The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? What about Grand Theft Auto DLC where Microsoft paid $50 million, for it to be exclusive.

However here is a link where Respawn confirms "That's not to say we won't go multiplatform in the future"

You referred to another X-Box (Bold). I assumed you meant 360 instead of the original XB1.

---

According to me, anyone who buys the One, specifically for Titanfall, assuming that Microsoft will continue to push a lot of exclusive games for their platform are dumb. Buying a system for one game, which might end up available on the PS4, only because they aren't patient to wait if the rumors are true is dumb. How long was the PS3/360 generation? 7/8 years? Rushing into a long term purchase like that (without intent on buying both systems) is dumb, and I speak from experience.

Yup.

What did Microsoft release of 360 in 2013? A crappy Gears of War game, which is really bad compared to the original trilogy, and not even developed by Epic. Plus a remake of a game which is playable on the 360. So 1 game

2012 - 1 Halo game, 1 very short, Forza game, developed by a different studio. So 2 games.

2011 - Gears 3, A remake of another game playable on the 360, Forza 4 - So 2 games

2010 - Fable, Crackdown, Halo - 3 games

2009 - 2x Halo, Forza, a JRPG, and Race Pro - 5 games

2008 - 8 games

2007 - 6 games

Yea, 2011 - 2013, 3 years, saw as many games as 2009 and earlier and prior saw annually. If not less, kinda neglected.

---

Compare that to PS3 which is seeing what 4, 5 exclusive games this year? A couple releasing around the same time the PS4 is launching?

It's worth remembering that Sony will support their next gen system until it stops selling and becomes obsolete. It's stupid punishing Sony for supporting their PS3, something PS3 owners are grateful for. PS4, like PS3,2, and 1, will get the most exclusives per generation. Just wait, don't punish Sony for not being done with the PS3 yet.

Best game I have played this year is State of Decay, a new MS IP exclusive to the 360. People who think MS abandoned the console just need to open their eyes.

That's not even a retail game, lol. Even when you talk about Arcade games, the best Arcade game ever made IMO was Shadow Complex, but I hear Journey for PS3 is really good.

1- So did they say yes? And where in the article.

In almost every interview the refused to comment on a PS4 version of the game, which means somethings up. A direct no would suffice. Look it up on interviews.

2- I thought Sony figured that out with a $600 console first.

Of course they learned, which is why they let Cerny take over. Cerny is one of the most consumer centric developers in the industry, hes always thinking about what the consumer wants and how they develop as gamers, which is he explains in his methodology behind Knacks development.

And where did you read timed exclusive? Share your knowledge.

Have some common sense. How many times did Microsofts launch timed exclusives stay exclusive? As I said we're more intelligent than they give us credit for, we've watched PR and if theres no definitive answer something is coming.
