Who should buy Atlus?

SONY PLS 210 41.75%

NINTY PLS 184 36.58%

MS PLS 22 4.37%

SQUEENIX PLS 12 2.39%

NAMDAI PLS 22 4.37%

GUNGHO PLS 10 1.99%

YOUR MOM PLS 27 5.37%

SOMEONE ELSE PLS 16 3.18%

Total:503

I'd love to buy them myself...

Now, talking seriously, I think Nintendo or Sony should buy them but of course if that happens Atlus games would become exclusives of one console (either PS or Nintendo consoles)

Any Japanese publisher, maybe Bandai or Namco. I don't want it go to any of the big 3. What if Atlus became independent?

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I wonder if Namco can afford them

I want my Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, so, Nintendo!!

NISA would probably publish Atlus's games outside japan

I think you need to be introduced to Namco, Squeenix and Capcom. Well, capcom not as bad as the other two, but basically if there arent big bucks to be made, they give you the middle finger.

But, as i told badgenome, if Namco lets D3 bring God Eater 2 overseas, i will become a believer. Also if they cave in and bring those vita tales aswell.

The thing is, i actually like Namco games alot, but they treat us as second hand customers and that is really annoying.

NISA fought a lot to bring more games overseas, at times original publishers (that had the money) didn't think it was a good investment.

It's the only publishers I believe in, they are really close to their fans ( just see their forum ) .

I would be fine if Nippon ichi wanted to buy them, but i think they are smaller than ATLUS in size. They probably cant afford it.

Not a first party for sure, they have too many games on various platforms.  Not sony, nintendo, square-enix (doesn't really fit their model (whether its good or not I'm not going to argue)).

A smaller company is preferable, or getting investors to become independent is ideal. because they'll let atlus continue to be atlus. If it goes with a bigger company it's direction could go down the tubes.

Just publish their games oversea. They are a lot smaller.

Back in the days, Atlus published NIS games.

From the informations I gathered, Atlus' revenue is 1000 times bigger than NIS' (2 million vs 2 billion)

I'll tell you one thing it won't be Sony or Nintendo. (At least I hope not)
