I did not, but some girls in my group did. I went to Siam Paragon though for Man of Steel in IMAX ;o. Tell me what's so special about MBK! |
Siam Paragon is like any other shopping centre.
MBK is a unique expirience, an indoor peddler's market where fake items co-exist with real stuff and shops range from storefront to tent. It is absolutely huge and will take you days to explore properly, most store are about the size of a hotdog stand and they have 7 levels of it sandwiched in tight corridors in walkways that stretch for kilometres.
They have fake cloth, real cloth, fake electronic, real electronic, toy, game stuff, models, tattoo palour, message parlour, specialist shop, jewellery shop, watch shop, furniture shop, art shop, restuarant, food stand and more.
To give you an idea of the duality, these images are shops in the same complex, the former is the specialist peddler stand (i think in level 7) and the later is the official Canon shop in Bangkok:

. Oh wow, MBK sounds good. I did go to a weekend market that was huge, I think it was called Chatuchak market or something like that.
