Sony just released a Vita showing their "newfound" love and support for developers. In the video over 30 Vita games are shown, many of the independent and small developer kind. Some very quality games, and I'm actually starting to think about purchasing a Vita. I think this is a better way to market to the media of the kind of experience on Vita, rather than AAA handheld titles. The Vita has yet to show me it can create a quality experience of a AAA title similar to the Ps3 or Xbox 360, also Killzone Merc could change that... I hope Sony's touchscreen handheld gets more commercially successful in the future, it really is indeed a great console.

Wasn't a similar video released for the WiiU just a few hours (maybe a day?) ago? The similarities are creepy...

The main problem is that this games are complements to the core experience and not the main purpose of owning a gaming device.    Vita needs big AAA games. When it has that; and the small games; then the VITA will begin to sell a lot.

Sony is pushing for the most successful PS3 PSN games to be relased on the VITA; so that when people moves into the PS4, and want to play those PSN games; they will get a VITA.  But it still needs BIG games.

I just played through Hotline Miami again on the Vita. Really digging this indie support.
