We all know that Knack is a laucnh title for the ps4. With all the good press around the ps4, I reminded me of the ps1/2 domination of the 5 and 6th gen. I also remebered how Crash helped make the playstation brand very popular. Before you go around saying that this  thread is ridicoulus and that it is absoulutly imposssible think about it. Just like Knack, Crash was also a new ip, a platformer, and was a launch title. Also, Mark Cerney who worked on Crash is also working on this. So with proper advertisment, can Knack become as popular if not more popular than Crash was and help ps4 dominate?

Definitely but platformers like knack and crash are niche now and don't have the power as they did during ps1/2 era. It's all about the fps/open world tps nowadays unfortunately.

OT: Cerny said they didn't envision Knack to be a mascot. I think it shows.

So far the gameplay leaves more to be desired. I am excited since Mark Cerny is behind it and he's great at what he does. My hope is that he's holding back. Previews I read from different sites suggest the game is holding back and there's more in store.

Probably, we got to wait and see, but I wonder when that rumor Crash Bandicoot game to be announce.

Difference is CRash helped define 3d platformer. Knack looks like a 60-70 metacritic game.
