Forums - Sony - Sony: 'Gamescom Is Going To Be A PS Vita Show'

The question is; will it make even an ounce of difference at this point?

oh course. they'll spend an hour showing ps4 games and then remind us at the end that vita does remote play..

Can't wait to hear about some more Vita titles.

Gamescom is definitely going to be a PS Vita show

So all PS4 games will be demonstrated running on a Vita through remote play? Interesting choice TBH.

Looking forward to Gamescom. Let the crowd go to the Vita-booths, more interesting stuff for me.

I really hope there are some awesome Vita titles

Actions speak louder than words Sony. Hope you'll deliver.

To be fair with Sony, last year Gamescom was very good for Vita.

Tearaway and KZ Mercenairies were both announced there.  The cross buy program was also announced there.

*CLAPS*

I've actually lost all excitement about any actual Vita system-seller game to be announced, If trully there are plenty of announced games, they're PS4 compatible with remote play, or be excited... Some indie games.

I'll believe it when I see it.

That said, Gamescom > E3 last year for Vita, so I'm at least expecting similar this year too. Maybe there will be another Tearaway-like game to get me excited.

Depends if they lower the price to something nearer the 3DS. If it stays at £229.99 RRP it's gonna do jack no matter what they show. £149.99 is a completely different proposition.

Gamescon should be the first proper look at stuff like Invizimals which if combined with a price drop, could start making the system appeal more to a younger audience.

Can't help but think waiting for a 3DS Pokemon to release Invizimals is kinda missing a trick though.
