Xbox 1st ps4 can wait for me. Microsoft seems to have better exclusives the first year

One of the best comments! Its all about the games, but personally i like the ps4 offerings better. I also think that of history is any indicator sony will have the highest rated exclusives. Great games do often get over looked though, bit crysis 3 was an excellent fps, much better than cod yet undersold for the quality of that game.

^^  Oh, and I'm sorry, but I'll choose Al Pacino over the strong cheaper macho man anyday.

The questions is, who do you rather be in the moment?

I think I can endure being a little bitch for one day if I get to play Dead Rising 3 with it.

The more people I talk to about this.....the more I feel that games don't matter anymore.

We literally evolved to a point where arguing about hardware IS video gaming, not playing games.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Day one purchase depends on launch exclusives. Neither console has a killer launch exclusive in my opinion. Software still sells hardware.

I agree there isnt that killer game that ive seen. The closest i think are all multi plat anyways

Yep totally agree. At the moment there's not a lot from 1st parties for either console. It's all generally stuff we have seen before, and that i think is to try and get some of those hardcore type players across.. i.e your Forza/Killzone fans.

Though i will be getting Killzone (which looks amazing), I am actually more excited about getting ACBF and WatchDogs... ACBF because its looking a bit dated on current gen and it needs to move up to the next gen, and watchdogs - open world really needs better graphics/processing.

I suspect a lot of users will be getting the consoles because this current gen has gone on far too long and want their favourite 3rd party games looking better. It wont be until next year that 1st parties will probably be able to deliver new experiences that people will want to try.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

I think the order might have some promise, but havent seen enough info on,it. Other than that spark seems like it might be cool, but i think whatever media molecule is working on will be better for a creation type game

PS4 for sure...and on your poll all of those reasons are valid as to why the PS4 is just hands down the better choice, especially for the multiplat gamer. Xbone can come later. Remedys game will be on PC and I can wait to play Halo.

Yep thats what the Xbox 360 proved, which is why I had both it and the PS3. I played the multiplats there. At least in America Xbox Live proved it could trump the actual experience of having exclusives, which was the way gaming used to be. Nintendo and Sega prided themselves on a strong internal studio and Sony followed suit while valuing the third party process equally. Microsoft proved to them that if you have all of the third party support and a strong online community you only need a handful of exclusives.

I agree except i won't buy a PS4 day one. The exclusives appeal to me far more than Xbox One's exclusives though. I won't rule out Xbox One now but it is not to likely as a purchase from me
