Something I've only just noticed.

So I'm playing Lost Odessey just now and noticed something. every once in a while, the light indicating playing 1 will switch to 1 & 3 and then alternate with 2 & 4, at first I thought it was happening to indicate when I wasn't in control (e.g the game doing a scripted event) but it started happening when I was. Making wonder exactly what was going on...

What's going on?

If I remember correctly it means that the battery is about to die.

yep the batteries are running out.

If it's only every once in a while then you still have quite some time left, maybe an hour or even longer. If it's doing that every few seconds then the controller is going out of power any minute.

Funny, sometimes my 360 won't show that there is a controller at all. No lights will show except on my controller. It still works fine though.

Yes, it's once every few seconds...my brother is going to be happy when he returns :D

well if you press the XB button you have the battery level on the top right corner of the grey menu.... it gives you an indication how much is left....
