I suspect that endless ocean is the next best thing but there's a problem with that. It's slow and offers more of a recreational view.

Of all the animals, I feel that a dolphin sim could offer the most unique view, simply because we know and see less about the ocean than the ground or the sky. Just being able to experience the social aspects of living together with a dolphin pod, fighting sharks as they invade, using dolphin strategies to catch fish, and sometimes even meeting humans in boats.

I just think it's just a really cool concept to be a social, intellegent animal under the sea, and I'm surprised no one has made a game that's similar.

I mean just imagine...multiplayer Oculus Rift Dolphin sim. Communicate via "signals" like Journey. Would be awesome. I mean they have the data out there. Plenty of cameras have been attached to dolphins and that footage can serve as inspiration.
