New Naughty Dog game please!

Maybe they will announce the release date then. It should probably be said that the previous 3 ND games have been announced at the VGAs, but there is still hope

PS4 version of the last of us would made me buy PS4 day one !!!

I hope to god there is at least 1 or 2 more launch day exclusives in the pipeline because Xbone is really looking more appealing at this point for a day one purchase.

If they do announce more day one titles I expect them to utilise the camera.

It doesn't really make sense to have too many AAA titles at launch because:

1. It probably won't effect sales, supply is limted. They'd be better off saving it for Q1 to keep demand up.

2.They'll only cannablalise their own 1st party sales. Killzone, Knack and Driveclub are gonna have a hard enough time making their money back on such small userbase and strong competition from 3rd parties. They don't need another game to splinter their sales even further.

It's understandable but they should have had stronger titles than Knack and Driveclub or at least pulled an M$ and paid for a third party exclusive for launch day.

Which games from the E3 conference will be launch titles on the Xbone?

OT. Yep, not surprised here, given the amount of games Sony has in the works, they have to divide them to keep the momentum. And Gamescom was really strong from Sony regarding game announcements in the recent years, while their competition even skipped some shows.

Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse in my opinion is a stronger lineup than Killzone (although the best looking game imo) Drive Club and Knack, which is why I'm hoping Sony announces some new near launch exclusive releases or as I stated previously 1 or 2 more exclusives on launch day.

Mhm ok. Yeah that's a decent launch line up, it's up to personal preference, and after you sounded really hopeful, almost desperate for Sony to show something more I thought they have like at least 2-maybe 3 including Killer Instinct more games for launch ;-P

But it looks like there isn't  a big difference. At least in my opinion. I don't think they will announce any more 1st party titles for launch. I don't think they even should, for the reasons teigaga listed.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

When is Gamescon this year?

Both titles looked promising initially, they still may deliver but their weak E3 showing is kind of typical for launch titles. Good concept, but rushed execution.
-Drive club it seems to just be the visuals people are dissapointed by.
-Knack it seems to be the gameplay.

Exclusives are definitely important, but too many games can be a negative to some extent. Especially when you have 3rd parties making games as well.

I love exclusives, but you have to spread your bets a little too. No point having all your exclusives releasing day 1. Regardless of if you buy MS or Sony, most gamers will probably want at least 3/4 games, thats £120 right there before we have the hardware, indie games and extra controllers etc.

I have two exclusive games i want to buy, and at least 2/3 3rd party games in AC BFlag and Watch Dogs, probably BF4. We're talking about lots of money to spread around.

So i suspect Sony has more content to come (gamescom and TGS) that wont be day 1, but will definitely be year 1. I do think Uncharted 4 will be out next Christmas.

I really don't know why either Sony or MS don't put some quick wins together in the form of Special HD updates to PS3 games (maybe as download only). I would love to buy an uncharted bundle of games which have all been upgraded to PS4 visual. I am sure there would be Fable/GOW/Halo users who would feel the same. I mean i own GTA3 on about 3 platforms, but would definitely buy it again if it was available upgraded visuals/engine to PS4.

Anyway i hope all companies have interesting games to reveal cause at the end of the day thats what its about.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Both companies launch exclusives aren't big system sellers or anything to write home about tbh.

Clearly there flagship studios are working on the real meat for next year.

I'm more excited about the Multiplat games like Watch Dogs/AC4/BF4 etc than either sides exclusives.

But PS4 is cheaper and better so that wins on default of my low money.
