Forums - Nintendo - Shokio's interesting take on Star Fox and F-Zero

Shokio says that Nintendo should give the IPs to other devs saying that Star Fox could end up being great thanks to Kamiya. He also mentioned how Sega is open to work on a new F-Zero.
He also said that just because the last Star Fox games sold badly, that doesn't mean new games in the franchise could sell   badly as well giving Fire Emblem Awakening as an example along with Kid Icarus Uprising.
You should totally watch it since it shows that not every Nintendo fan is a blind sheep. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6vViqSh4IE&list=UUBQnkb7JjTfpaIARq53ZLGQ

Star Fox comes like 100 %. When Miyamoto says he can think of things for the new Star Fox it's already confirmed (2012 interview or so, don't remember anymore)

Yes, but it would be interesting to see how Kamiya would handle the series.

I love love love F-zero but I think it's time to accept that franchise is dead.

That's why there is a F-Zero mini game in Nintendo Land.

...I don´t know who Shokio is, but i think that a new F-Zero isn´t that far fetched: Monster Games has just finished Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, they are a pretty good racing game studio (Excite Bike, Excite Bots) and the last 4 games they developed were on Nintendo´s systems !

There's also a Takamura Castle mini game....

"Star Fox could end up being great thanks to Kamiya."

The same thing we thought about Rare and Namco.
