probably cheaper manufacture of super slim model that are getting ready for price cut sales
They could have dropped the price of the Ps3 after the last slim, but if they have another revision which is cheaper, they can lower the price and still be making the same profit margins. I expect we'll see more of this in the next gen.
Was surprised by some comments on the new Xbox 360, which didnt seem to have any form factor improvements (size), does it have processor size improvements?
