Forums - Sony Discussion - PS3 Exclusive Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers Unveiled, Coming to Europe and South America, First Trailer Released

Namco Bandai just officially unveiled Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, scheduled for release this fall exclusively for PS3.

The title will be a 1 vs 1 fighting game that will include characters from the Sanctuary, Poseidon and Hades series of the popular shonen anime series. Differently from it’s predecessor Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle, this title will include anime cutscenes between battles.

Did you notice how I did not mention “in Japan” when I wrote about the release window? That’s because, strangely enough, Namco Bandai already announced that the game will also be released this fall in Europe and South America. Unfortunately no North American release has been mentioned, and it’s unlikely since Namco Bandai seems to be convinced that Saint Seiya isn’t known in the United States. Luckily the PS3 is region free, so those that want to play it in the US will still be able to easily import it.

Together with the announcement the publisher also released the game’s first trailer, that you can enjoy below.

Would be a first...

If you look around at Saint Seiya videos on youtube, you'll see lots and lots of Spanish comments. Maybe that convinced Namco? :P
