Cool let them trade for Monolith Soft.

I'll keep my thoughts on Twisted Metal to a minimum since it's pretty off-topic. But I'd say lack of advertising definitely played a part; I think it was a combination with (like you said) a dying genre, and the fact the game launched with server issues from Day 1. It could've sold a lot better with just a little more effort.
Kratos is a realistic character? lol. To be fair, most Sony exclusives have crap advertisement, even GoW:A (&3 thinking back) had hardly any here in the UK and I don't think I ever saw an ad for games in other big franchises like Killzone, LBP or Infamous. I remember seeing TV ads for UC3 many times every day and it's a similar case with TLoU. If only Sony supported all their exclusives the same.
Sony obviously had little to no faith in the games quality or sales potential which explains the lack of advertisement and a reduced launch price. If Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is a great game then word of mouth could bring it up to 500K+ on PS3 and 100K+ on PSV lifetime (not even including digital) and I don't think that'd be so bad for a budget game and hopefully enough for Sony to not give up on the series. I doubt it would be much more popular on a Nintendo console.

Fire emblem as well.

No, sir. You're completely wrong on that one.
We would see New Super Sly 3D World, a port of New Super Sly 3D Land for the 3DS. But that's better than almost nothing...

Maybe, I never played Luigis mansion. I've always had contact with him through the Super Mario Bros games which is what I'm basing my judgement on. The others I have had multiple direct experiences through multiple titles though (I think my last experience with Kirby was on Gameboy Color so that might be dated as well but no one has argued that one at all unlike the others)

It's not only in Luigi's Mansion. Super Smash Bros as well, but I can see if you've only played the New Super Mario or the old 2D mario games why you couldn't tell.

My main for the smash games has always been Link and Jigglypuff (No joke.... I'm deadly with Jigglypuff. I never win but I get close and frustrate everyone else to the point I'm getting triple teamed)
