Maybe, I never played Luigis mansion. I've always had contact with him through the Super Mario Bros games which is what I'm basing my judgement on. It's not only in Luigi's Mansion. Super Smash Bros as well, but I can see if you've only played the New Super Mario or the old 2D mario games why you couldn't tell.

My main for the smash games has always been Link and Jigglypuff (No joke.... I'm deadly with Jigglypuff. I never win but I get close and frustrate everyone else to the point I'm getting triple teamed)
