The only thing drm will earn devs is less consumers.

I hope you are right, but I'm not so sure. With Sony, MS and the PC on board, the only way you can get non-DRM (and legal) gaming is with Nintendo.

This is my third party list for THIS year, I may buy some additional ones, but early next year:
-Splinter Cell: Blacklist
-Watch_Dogs
-Batman: Arkham Origins
-Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut (if they do put a release date)
-Call of Duty: Ghosts (if it really comes out)

Here is my first party list:
-Pikmin 3
-The Wonderful 101
-The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker HD

Yep.

I'm definitely buying Watch_Dogs, Batman, DuckTales Remastered and Rayman THIS year. I may also buy AC4, but I can't even get myself to finish AC3 so IDK... might leave it for a used game purchase in 2014.

Plus I'm buying NSLU, ZeldaWWHD and Pikmin3 this year definitely.

This is not including any VC games I'll be picking up.

All other guys mention in the OP I am getting at some point!! Also do not forget RE is out right now!!

Have you played the free challenges game in eShop? I think it more than made up for the delay.

It seems to me that Nintendo's problem at the moment is that they are too much pro-player. Let me explain.

Both the XBone and the PS4 are going to move to a model where games are rented to consumers, effectively killing the used game market. (Think PS4 won't follow this model? Sony already admitted that they will leave this option open to the publishers, and the publishers *WILL* make use of it).

From a publisher's point of view, this means that XBone and PS4 will earn more revenue. The Wii U is a risk to them, because the second hand market will reduce their revenue.

So even if a miracle occurs and the adoption rate of the Wii U suddenly sky rockets, and even if their titles sell well on the Wii U, the game publishers will still release games to the Wii U later than to the Sony/MS platforms. This is because they want to cash in on the initial hype of a new release, and want to maximize the revenues earned on the rental market. They essentially want any cross-console owner to buy the game on their Sony/MS console *first*, and then allow exclusive Nintendo owners to buy it once the hype dies down.

While Nintendo put the concerns of the players above those of the publishers, the publishers will treat them (and we Nintendo owners) as second class citizens. For me, this is a sad state of affairs, that the concerns of publishers are driving the way we own and play games.

If publisher do go the route of DRM with the PS4, wouldn't gamers avoid the PS4 for the same reason the X1 is getting so much flack?

Ill pick up AC4 if it isnt utter garbage like Ac3 was.

I'll be getting Watchdogs, Batman.

Now as for what system, I haven't decided yet on PC or Wii U. Will probably wait and see what people think of which system

Have not played batman arkham city on Wii U, but always thought the gamepad would be great for a batman game, having your gadgets and all that being used by the gamepad.  Then the same for watchdogs, feels like it was made for the WIi U control in mind.

So I'm hoping those two games are either better or as good as the PC version, caue I have high hopes for the control method of WIi U in regards to those games.

AC4?  Hmm not sure yet if I'll get that game at all.  Been too many AC games that haven't played yet, feel like might be missing out story wise, not to mention an assassin dressed pirates still seemes strange to me and the game hasn't really evolved since AC1

WB have stated that the Wii U has their total support, and that the industry needs Wii U. At least somebody likes us :)

I'm looking at getting Batman, Watch Dogs, and Rayman, depending on how they turn out.

*Sigh* If only this poll represented the majority of Wii U owners, we'd be getting a lot more third party support...

As a future Wii U owner (just cut the price and announce a Metroid Prime Nintendo... Trilogy HD would be enough) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for these games, though to tell the truth, I don't see myself buying a single Wii U/PS4 multiplat for the Wii U. The only exception would be a cool and smart usage of the GamePad without having these options implemented into PS4/PSV combo. The graphics would have to be ok as well though, somewhere between PS3 and PS4 level.
I plan to buy almost all 3rd party exclusives though.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
