Kind of exciting, they do great work. Since they are going to announce something, that means it's already underway? My understanding is Tokyo has two teams and they move the bulk of staff back and forth to finish projects. Another game from them next year would be awesome.

I hope they announce that the generic 3DLand rehash that has nothing special going for it except for the lame gimicky cat Mario was actualy a joke and that they were working on a true speritual successor to Galaxy and Sunshine before it all along. You know...That masterpiece we were all waiting for, not that lame 3D mario that has been designed with the chaotic unplayable multiplayer a la NSMB in mind.

I know this sounds like I'm trolling, I'm sorry but this is seriously how I feel about this game.

I feel the same way. This is probably the first 3d Mario I have no interest in buying and I've bought them all from Mario 64 onwards.

It's a shame for me because I personally felt NSMBU was a step up from NSMBWii but this new 3D Mario seems like such a huge step back from Galaxy.
