A PlayStation 4 version of Gran Turismo 6 will likely appear, according to series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.

Speaking with 4Gamer.net at E3, Yamauchi said, “I think a PlayStation 4 version will appear naturally.”

He teased, “We won’t keep you waiting too long, but it won’t be too soon either.”

Yamauchi’s thoughts on the new console? “Basically I think it’s a good neutral machine,” he said. “It’s balanced hardware with no quirks, so it’s just about how to make the software.”

Gran Turismo 6 is set for a PlayStation 3 release later this year.

Yeah.... I think GT7 will come to PS4 in late 2015.

I knew this, better to wait a little until you can get the PS4 version then, but that's me.

ethomaz, will you be able to wait, say like 6 months for it to come to the PS4?

I wonder if there's gonna be a Darks Souls 2 version coming to the PS4 as well!! One can dream :D

It can be GT6 or GT7... I can bet with anybody that it will be GT7... my prediction: Holiday 2015 release.

He said that too.

Yamauchi responded, "After launch we'll continue to update [GT6] and it will grow as a game. Also, a lot more things are coming for it. Once players have kind of played out the features of Gran Turismo 6 and they're satisfied with the game, that's the point when we'll release the next Gran Turismo."

He smiled: "It shouldn't be a very long time."

So that's why I'm prediction 2015 release.

Not very long time to PD is two/three years lol

That would be a perfect time to release GT7, enough PS4's would be out there by then to warrant it. 

Vita needs a GT game before it dies.
