The only good looking console from that gen was the Dreamcast. The gamecube looked like a toy, and the XBox didn't look any better than the PS2.

The PS4 is much more pleasing to the eye than any of those.

Hey, now. My silver GC is actually pretty sleek looking...for a sugar cube. Speaking of which, why don't we see more consoles with handles on them?

I really like the way the PS4 looks...but nobody judges hardware just by looks. The PSP Go was a gorgeous bit of hardware, ruined by Sony's horrible digital marketplace.
