and GTA is a bigger franchise than COD in terms of quality and not releasing every year. with the higher install base wii u will have by the end of the year, of course the game would do much better than those launch titles that already sold decently.

If you actually read what i said and not gotten emotional. I said it hasnt reached HALF a mil. A console COD hasnt even reached a quarter mil yet and we are in June and it released in November. 

quality is subjective and has nothing to do with what we are talking about, COD is the bigger franchise in terms of sales and releases, that is a fact. And if COD BLOPS2 hasnt even sold 200k yet, i would have little hope that GTA would do better. ANd btw less than 200k for a CONSOLE COD release is anything but decent. hell the VIta one did better and that was a piece of crap

SO WHAT? that game won't get much more sales, but what does it have to do with what we're talking. the first COD games released on ps360 haven't reached 10M even though the install base raised, that's the same excuse for logic that you're using. AND ALMOST 200K WHEN THE INSTALLED BASE WAS BELOW 3M IS DECENT, speccially when half of that would already mean profit.

Look, no matter how much you hate wii u (wich seens obvious), it will have a bigger install base by the end of the year and the newest installments of franchises that were there at launch (batman, COR, AC) will definetely sell better than the ones at launch. I'm expecting numbers around 500k, batman and watch dogs may cross the 600 and 700k respectively.

It has to do with what we're talking about because COD, sales wise is one of the few franchises that is comparable, it is bigger than GTA and is not doing hot on WIi U now, so I and a few others see no reason why a series that is less popular would do better. What does 10 mil have to do with anything? We talking just 1 mil, which the intial PS360 versions of the first CODs DID do and beyond, and its looking like that wont happen for WIi U, which is not going to be a good thing in the publisher's eyes.

How much i hate the Wii u? fail I like the system just fine. There is nothing to hate. What does that have to  with anything? SO because i believe a certain game wont do good on a certain system I hate it? what an ignorant thing to think. Not that it matters becasue GTA isnt coming to WIi U, so its all moot. COD BLACK OPS 2 SOLD DECENTLY FOR THE INSTALLED BASE. WHAT IT'S SELLING IN THE CURRENT WEEKS IS UTTERLY IRRELEVANT BECAUSE IT'S LAUNCH PERIOD IS LONG OVER. IT DID WELL ON WII U AND MULTIPLATS FOR OCTOBER/DECEMBER 2013 WILL DO BETTER.

I want the original GTA on Wii U e shop. That was the best game in the series by miles. But that will never happen

And no, for a CoD game on consoles, below 200k is not decent, it is bad and the legs of the game doesn't look good as well, it won't pick up much. 

And the bolded is a joke, right? So launch games are only there to sell during launch period, and then they are discontinued? No, they still keep selling until, usually, there is another entry. Also keep in mind, that launch titles sometimes get decent numbers sold, because there are not many games to choose from. This holiday season, CoD Ghosts if it launches on Wii U, it will be in competition with other big Nintendo titles for the Wii U, and even if not competing directly, it will, for consumers limited amount of money. So it may not sell much better than Blops 2. Also people got burned with the multiplayer component of Blops 2 on the Wii U, cause it's servers quickly got empty, and multi is a very important part of CoD games. People may get it on consoles with bigger communities, because it for sure won't happen there.

yeah the install base in that moment was like 500k so 200k of CODBLOPS was decent very decent.

Threads like this always amaze me. Sometimes, one starts to get the feeling that ninty-gamers consider PS360-type games junk. Other times, you see threads like this pop up. Are there really that many GTA fans that chose to buy Wii U and have no PS360?

Frankly, I don't think it's worth it for rockstar. Anyone who wanted GTA V most likely already has a system it's launching on. If a Wii U version launches, it will only cannibalize PS360 sales not provide new sales. That doesn't do Rockstar any good as they would have spent more money for the same returns.

You are just being silly because wii u's consumers have the right to demand games to be released on their platform.
