Amen. Possibly the most overrated franchise in gaming history.

Bad logic? Your logic is bad lol. You have the same  world view as investors.....  When you make 1 dollar profit and ESPECIALLY when you are establishing your IP on a platform (which generates more money than not doing so)  is not wasting time.
And when you look at the PC ports of Rockstar games you should know that having perfect ports is not what they aim for so a small team of devs should do it within a short period of time.

Plus the people with the IDEA of a new game and artists etc are not needed to make a port. You just hand over the work to a few coders and thats it. So making a port =/= halting development of a new games.

And as I said establishing product to increase the potential userbase for future games is important NOT making money right now. Money comes later when you are already established.  As "out of touch with reality" developers you also seem to think short term profit is everything  when instead long term profit is the key to success. (btw the  short term profit  problem is destroying every type of business/company right not just gaming companies)

Just look at COD3  it sold almost identical on Wii as it did on 360 and better on Wii as it did on PS3. Then they abandoned Wii with ModernWarfare because they were dumb  just to come back 2 years later with a  REFLEX EDITION port.  That was to late  the COD BOOOM happened with modern warfare and thats why COD is not selling on Wii that well   not because Wii owners dont like it but instead they moved on and bought 360s etc to buy it or they moved on to play other games on Wii because Activision was to stupid to bring the game to the Wii. Plus Reflex Edition was a port of an already OLD game.

The COD sales went from 2.16million with COD3 (in 2006 when Wii was still new) to only 1.47 million with MW:Reflex in 2009! Activision killed it's Wii usersbase.

If they want Wii owners to appreciate their game and to generate profit  they need to work and accept short term loss  because thats what companies usually do when they want long term profit. (look at Xbox and PS3 launch. MS and Sony understand that)

They need to bring out several games without dropping Wii again because 1 game doesnt sell well. Every single  game in a series that does not come to Wii or now WiiU damages the IP on that system nothing else and you have to start from scratch in establishing it because the users lose confidence. I mean would you buy a version of COD when you don't know if it will ever have a big community? or if the next installment is coming? and if it will what if it comes 2 years later again?  NO you would rather buy another version where you are sure it will happen.

Black Ops on PS3 sold twice as good as it sold on WiiU  so how exactly is WiiU not good for that kind of game? I mean just look at the facts.
1. WiiU version lacks some features 2.WiiU version has almost no community because the console userbase is so small and yet the PS3 version only sold 2.2x better (console : games sold ratio) than the WiiU version.  In total numbers the PS3 COD sales destroy the WiiU COD sales but only because there is 22x more PS3s than there is WiiUs.

Third party is the only reason why third party is not successful on Nintendo platforms. And every big game like GTA not coming to the system makes it harder for every third party developer not only the one making the game  to establish oneself.   EA is the reasony Activision has problems and Activision is the reason why Ubisoft has problem etc.  They only think about themselves and about short term profit.  Thats the most stupid thing you could do.....

And BTW even if Rockstar made 10 WiiU ports without profit they should keep doing it because 1. they can afford it and 2. the userbase is increasing every time (thats the most important thing!)

When they stop porting a single game over the userbase gets a hit.

This, its insane to say almost all the third party games are coming. hell there is already a list of games NOT going to Wii U and it is a massive list.

Posing requires very little effort, it's not like I sacrifice hours of my day to drop a comment. Commenting is in itself a fun activity.

I liked GTA for a grand total of 10 minutes, on the original Xbox, back in 2005. After the initial thrill of messing around got boring, it lost all appeal. Tried GTA4, found it horrid. I see no reason to believe GTA5 will be any better.

you've posted in this thread far to much for me to believe you dont care, IMHO it seems like another "this game is not coming to my system of choice, so im going to hate on it" now if im wrong then im wrong.

Rockstar said that they haven't announced any plans for next-gen systems yet. This obviously means Wii U, XB1 and PS4. and they said PC is still up for consideration.
Would seem strange for Rockstar not to try and take advantage of the fact that all systems out will be able to run the game, and they have had great success with GTA games with Ninty before on the DS.

I simply enjoy discussion. If I was pissed I'd be bashing Rockstar. I don't change my view on games based whether or not they come to my console of choice; I still love Bioshock even though Infinite didn't come to Wii U, and I still dislike Assassin's Creed even though it's on Wii U now.

Just forget about it.. get it on the PS4.. it will run better too... only because third parties are shit with wiiU

Yikes, that seems like a long shot. This is among the few games where I don't crave a PC version, the controls are often really horrible and there are some performance issues on ATi cards at times.
