So around a month ago a few rumours circulated on various sites about a possible release of GTA V on Wii U. One article said that the game had been tested on Wii U dev kits for some time, i also read an article in a British newspaper and Wii U was listed as one of the platforms.
Since then however everything has gone quiet, im sure there was an investors meeting last month, and some possible announcements on the game and its platforms.
Have these rumours been quashed by Rockstar?, have they denied or confirmed no Wii U version is coming?
As far as im aware only PS3 and 360 are confirmed. I would love to see a full GTA game on a Nintendo system, it may even help break down some of the 3rd party barriers.

If the game does come out for the Wii U, it'll probably be later than the PS3/360 versions.If it was getting a release on the same day, I think we would've known about it at the E3 Direct.

It's not going to happen. Anything that you have read or heard about the possibility of GTAV coming out on the Wii U is bullshit. There is a reason why those rumors died out.

I would be lying if i said i havent got my hopes up, but the Nintendo fan in me is sane and logical, so i prob know what to expect.
As far as a PC version goes, basically its been rumoured as has the Wii U version.

After 4 I don't really care about GTA. Now Saints Row I am interested in but I always get that on PC. IDK it'd be cool to play off tv GTA or Saints Row. Just hope the new developer doesn't ruin the franchise. Might get Watchdogs on Wii U though.

I think they'll probably release the wii u version in the future, together with the PsOne versions.

Some guy at Rockstar did say the PC and Wii U version are up for consideration, but I suspect that to just be PR talk and nothing more.
