Soooo Just thinking randomly about it, Capcom owns both Megaman and Monster Hunter. We been seeing only MH on Nintendo systems. Maybe Nintendo made a deal with Capcom stating MH4 be a Nintendo Exclusive (3DS) for Megaman joining SSB4? I mean Megaman will get a huge boost as a franchise if brought into the ultimate crossover game right?

Not really. Unfortunately Mega Man has no buying power. You can even throw him in Smash that still won't help.

Sincerely doubt it. Despite Capcom's neglect of Megaman of late, giving him for Smash Bros is still a favor to Nintendo.

MH4's exclusivity is likely due to a combination of Nintendo moneyhat and not wanting to split the local multiplayer base up.

I don't know, however, Megaman looks overpowered as hell.

my brother is now hooked on megaman O.o He beat 1 and 2 now buying 3!!! I still think it helps a little? MH4 is probably alot better with 1 System

I never saw any exclusive coming from Konami on any Ninty platform after Snake made it into smash. If anything, it was the other way around, all konami games on any platforms but Ninty.

Also Smash has been in development for around a year only now. In order to make MH3g and even MH4 exclusive, that decision must have been made a loong time ago since I think MH4 has been in development before smash begun.

This is probably how the conversation between Nintendo and Capcom went for MegaMan in SSB:

Nintendo: "Hey Capcom! How about we use MegaMan in our next SSB game?"

Capcom: "I've never heard of a MegaMan, but if you're asking us... I guess it's okay....?"

Nintendo: "...Thanks..."

Capcom: "Lol, and take Monster Hunter while you're at it!"

So yes, you're over-thinking this.
