So as he explains the family plan, all ten members pool their games and then can check them out as per a library. So one copy of a game can be played by exactly one person at a time.

That's like the others news explained the Family plan... the guys here in the forum that misunderstood thinking that two players can run the same game at the same time.
But it is good because you can have 10 frirends... so you can share all the games... just is bad to play multiplayer games at the same time because you need to have more copies of the game.
So if you want to play a MP game with these 10 friends... you will need 10 copies of the game.
There are the GOOD and the BAD part.
Anyway if you share your disc based game to a friend today you can't play it... it is the same thing with this plan.

I've never liked Greenberg or Mattrick but I must say Major Nelson does great PR work, and definately gives a good interview, he keeps Joe on point as well here.
Well..Sharing a game with 10 to play one at a time...that's still going to make a difference...
I like the fact that Nelson sticks to his guns, but he was actively trying to spin stuff there on purpose. Xbox One does enhance the experience, true, but it also does restrict, and Major Nelson was trying to push that "restricting" idea away.
