I have no idea actually but maybe when the game is loading, there is a percentage after loading.
It is just a guess because I noticed it today and yesterday I didn't. But maybe I wans't paying attention

There was no patch for that, it was something wrong with the server on ND's side that they fixed.

Im assuming the patch will unlock Multiplayer.
