 The thing, in my opinion, that he is not even as good as before. He killed Jaws by rehashing the damn concept every time, ET 2 never happened for good reasons, Jurrasic Park 4 is in limbo, the opposite  to the works.

This is why movie directors should stay out of games, they are so clueless. Also, they should look at their work before saying anything. What good films have came out of Lucas or Spielberg in the last 10 years or so. I can't think of any. There classics came out in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Gaming has grown massively since then and these people are just out of touch and just relics of the past.

Exactly. Spielberg has a lot to do with his franchises. Not even worth mentioning Lucas.

Not saying it is impossible, but video games truly are a horrible medium for story telling. To deliver a well structured and compelling narrative you have to take freedom away from the player and at least to some extent script the progress through a game. The more emphasis you put on the story, the less game is left, and the closer you get to game and movie hybrids that are terrible.

I don't know.  Stories in games like Xenoblade and BioShock Infinite are good enough for me. Besides, just like most people said, KOTOR has a  better stroy than the prequel trilogy combined.

i agree that most games stories arent very good...but someone send this man a copy of ico/shadow of the colossus
