Oh and i was going to say:
It's all still in the air, there is a good 5 months until consoles come out and things can change. We dont know yet if either will have production problems, OS problems (wii-u) or in MS's case game activation issues. There is *ALOT* we don't know yet which will certainly have an impact on what happens in terms of sales.
Sony could screw up their production (they haven't started mass production yet), and can you imagine what would happen Day 1 if people cannot log into the PSN/MS systems, and even worse for MS not activate their games. All these launch day issues could drastically change the amount of sales that each console gets.
A few years ago I really believed that people who have invested lots of time/money and achievements into a console would be less likely to move to a competitor. I used to think, no way would i want to not start my trophy score from scratch... but as games companies have made some of them so difficult to obtain, I've become less and less bothered about them - and i think many are the same... while i think companies perhaps considered people were "locked" into a system. I have an iphone, but ive now got an android phone... same thing.
One thing i do know, is that its going to be an exciting 5-6 months.
