The PS controller (all iterations).

It's just too tiny and i dislike the analog positioning. Buttons don't feel as good as other controllers (both face and shoulder buttons).

This is not counting any third party controllers, since all third party controllers for all consoles feel weird as shit.

Then you must have had problems with the Gamecube controller. That one was even more "cramped" in one's hands.

Yeah, it wasn't the best experience. Redeeming factor was the fact that the left stick was placed higher. C stick was a joke but thankfully games back then weren't really dual-stick.

I remember an horrible microsoft pad for PC I had when I was 10. Drivers always crashed (Yeah, microsoft pad on windows) and the design was as ugly as uncomfortable.

Yup, the ps controllers has always been the worst.  Those analog sticks combined with bumper/trigger spacing is just horrible.

What do you mean "not really dual-stick"?

The Zelda series, for example, used the C Stick to freely control the camera.  Just like the games from the current gen.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Official controllers I've had any time with it has to be the Sixaxis, awful button positioning and super light, left me with cramped wrists. Next on my List is the SNES pad, never rated the dpad as it hurt the thumb (playing SF2) and the shoulders were hit and miss). Funnily enough my favourite pads were the 2 rivals to these pads, the Sega 6 button pad (best dpad ever imo) and of course the 360 pad. Each to their own though as I imagine hand size will produce huge differences in opinion.

The N64 controller is bad.
The Intellivision pad and the Jaguar are sickening but...
Nothing compares to this:

Ohh yeah.. the Atari controller was pretty bad. The blance on that thing was so off.

PlayStation has always had the worst controller to me. Followed by Dreamcast. Loved that system. I actually liked The Duke lol

the original x-box controller easily

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.
