One youtuber has some valid points.

Nintendo should really remove the bloom.... or at least make it optional (like in some shooters or Rockstar titles you can turn off the motion blur)

No, it's done on purpose. Defining edges is not always a quality, here bloom makes the world dreamy, much like a bloomy sunny day. That combined with the shadows gives for a very tangible world and I'm all for it.

its my least favorite of the entire series. a real let down. oh well when i get a wiiu 2 years from now maybe link to the past 2 will make its way to it. i will never EVER sail in that game again. ever.

It looks more than decent honestly. For an old game, it holds up impressively well.

The bloom is one of the only reason why this game looks considerably better in parts. During the indoor sequences, you could tell me it was gamecube footage and I would believe you.

Well Remember, this isn't like a re-build zelda game from the bottom up like Ocarina 3D, it's Windwaker in HD with better lighten and added tweaks and features to the game.

The bloom works really wel on the ocean and the horizon.
