Thought Steven Spielberg put the most effort into creating Boom Blox.

I believe they never aggressively lobbied for it. We got leaks saying it was MS' idea. I'm sure they said they would support it and think its a good idea when MS approached them about it though

Well, that kinda blows some theories that have been proposed away. MS actually came up with the DRM scheme themselves, that is pretty messed up to know. Why would they want to be so anti -consumer, they should have consulted with devs and see what they thought about it before setting the online checks in stone.

Now that X1 needs 24hr check-ins, we can no longer play video games without internet. That is the stupidest idea I have ever heard of to implement into a video game console.

Now, EA says it wasn't their idea, but let's see if they take advantage of the DRM anyway.

Oh, this also throws out all the x1 fans claims that "Sony will lose 3rd party support because 3rd party wants it and Sony will piss them off" lol EA and Ubi both came out saying they don't care

So instead of "Aggressively Lobbying" they just Lobbied.

Well, at least it's a little bit of a nicer way to do things.

Sorry EA, we know you're behind this. Microsoft is too, but theres no doubt you played a hand on this.

Hmmm I do remember hearing about abandoning online passes from EA about 2 months ago or so, but I thought that was because of origin.
Hopefully, this speech against DRM means they actually are against it, and aren't simply going to go about it a different way.
