The main problem is that damn price. It is justified since it includes the kinect, but still.

True and hopefully if sales are low then they will drop the price but I think they think that price is justified because of all the functions the Xbox 1 can do and it is kinda true that the Xbox 1 can do more than the PS4.

I wish, they would not have kinect as a requirement. The console would prob be around $400 then.
Xbone will still sell more at launch than ps4.in the U.S. at least. Why? Sony is probably doing a WW release and wont have enough consoles to go around whereas M$ is focused on the U.S.

This would be better for gamers but I think Kinect is integral to the Xbox One since it has a lot of functions.

Yeah chill. It's a joke. Also, you can't determine profits from the console cost anyway. We don't know if they are losing money per console or making a profit, either console. Throw in what profit they make on software, services, and whatever else and it gets pretty "cloud"y.
That is also a joke.
