The mic is the black box hanging about 3-4 inches below the ear piece.

it does use "AUX" input so I'm guessing most wired headphones will work.

Well yeah you can get 3 for $6 bucks :D

the fake ones probably sound better than the real ones , the sound on these things are horrible =/ people like them because they make everything sound like it have extra bass.
