Forums - Sales Discussion - List of Third-Party Developers supporting the Wii

http://www.codenamerevolution.com/?p=4947

Entire post is quoted directly from them.

The following list consists of confirmed third-party developers on board for the Wii. The list does not include developers that are subsidiaries of companies like Helixe which is now a THQ company.

It is important to note that many developers have not confirmed support as yet, but has taken strong interest in Wii development. Second-party developers are not part of this list. It is likely that some developers are missing on this list.

Note: According to Nintendo, 500 studios have received a Wii kit by far.

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

And how many of them will actually release groundbreaking epic games? If you're lucky 1 or 2. All the good stuff is being saved for the PS3 and 360.

If you know what groundbreaking games are being saved to 360/PS3, you could name them.

Sorry, but claiming that is so doesn't make it so. Plus you clearly are delusional if you think ground-breaking, epic games are all "being saved" for any system at all. Epic games are fairly common, but ground-breaking ones? Those come along about once a year on average. Those are games like GTA III (not the sequels, since those refined what was already there), Super Mario 64, or Metal Gear Solid 1.

So far the 7th gen hasn't had any. There have been epic games (Gears, Resistance, Twilight Princess), but nothing actually ground-breaking.

And besides, it's nearly impossible to reserve a ground-breaking game for one system. You don't know the game is ground breaking until its standards start being assimilated. So your comment is a total lie.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

And Rockstar... (For you who don't know yet: Manhunt 2 is on coming for Wii so they should be on the list!)

THE NETHERLANDS

The PS3/360's greats so far look more to be evolutionary games moreso than revolutionary. Not to say they aren't impressive.

Btw, Monolith is now considered "Second Party", and not 1st or 3rd party.

Rockstar is on the list. Check "Take Two". It's listed by publisher (hey read the first post), and Rockstar is developer. Monolith as 2nd party is not in the 3RD PARTY list (as i said earlier: read). And most of the developers on the list is still without publisher.
