Forums - Nintendo - Did Nintendo ruin the whole E3 for you? Nevermind, saw youtube video with no lag.

Whoa there. For one, Mario Kart and DKC look like great sequels.

And maybe you didn't watch the same conference I did, because I remember seeing new footage of my most anticipated game of all time: X.

No, I could not see anything with all the horrible lag, skipped from one game to the next. The main thing I saw was a motionless CEO trying half heartedly to save his company.

Reggie would have at least made it fun. Or even Miyamoto and his Smile. But no.......we got some decent games that will come out at some point in the future.

I agree about the lag, but if I recall, Nintendo isn't the only one experiencing technical difficulties this year.

You should watch the videos once more because the new Mario Kart looks much better than MKWii.

You think that was the problem? Maybe the lagging just took any enjoyment I could have had away from the event?

I know it is just games, but we wait all year for this stuff, and Nintendo gives out a Direct that is unwatcheable.

Watch it again on YouTube, no lag this time:

You also should encompass the directs Nintendo gave before as well, would it have been any better if they had held back on any mention of X or anything back in Feb/March, had held back on Sonic until today? Would it have made the E3 better? Perhaps if those things had only been announced and shown today you and many others would have considered it awesome. I thought it was good, better than last year, not the best ever, but not too bad.

Watch these. I was a bit disappointed with the actual Nintendo Direct, too. The Developer Directs saved it for me, though.

E3 has been ruined for me for about 3-4 years.

Nintendo really didn't do jack to change that for good or bad, although I will give them props for some of the games looking better.

Nintendo didn't ruin E3 for me, but there was one thing that killed all my hype for both the Nintendo conference, and the Sony coference, and that was some guy who kept asking in here why the streams were not on Spike TV over and over and over.

Nintendo can't afford to take risks right now, not in this situation. The games they announced will probably help the system get back on it's feet then you can start looking for something different.

Seeing X, more Pokémon X/Y, MK8, and SM3DW, and having them ruin your E3?

Either your standards are too damn high or you just expected something completely different.

Come on,
there some very good game... nevertheless, I expect more.
