Mario Kart would have been better but they do need stuff for early next year.
A price cut and Gamecube VC could round out the year quite nicely though.
Will the fall line-up get Wii U's momentum going again? | |||

I think the VC needs to become a key component for them. Get big games out there, regular sales....highlight 3rd party VC offerings, etc., especially to fill in retail release gaps.
Bah!
| DevilRising said: A) We don't even know the full lineup yet. Reggie said there is "more to come", IE they didn't talk about everything at E3. We already know more Nintendo Direct videos will be coming in the coming months. B) Even if THAT'S ALL, then yes, for me, that is more than enough. Pikmin, Mario, Shovel Knight, Wonderful 101, Sonic, DKC, Watch Dogs, etc. Yeah. I'm good. My wallet is going to be hurting as it is. |
Did Reggie specify if "more to come" meant before the end of 2013 or before the end of the fiscal year (next March)?
Bah!

I agree. It'll be great compared to past Wii U sales, but compared to anything else (especially 3DS,) it'll look just alright.
I can see it attracting a small amount of Wii owners back, too. There will definitely be more attention cast onto Wii U.
With Ghosts also in the mix it's enough, especially if they give a price cut. It would have been better if MK and M3D were switched because there is already DK and Sonic coming, but it's a solid line up if they market better.

whats wrong with it,looks fine to me
ufit in december no brainer, plus the classics
I think people forget that the ps4 400 dollar model will be a base version, keep in mind that the xbox 360 had a base version of 300 compared to the 250 dollar wii version, yet the wii ran laps over the 360.
50 dollars is a big deal, and considering that you can get a wiiu for a 100 dollars less than the next cheapest console as compared to only 50 dollars cheaper like last gen, I think that will make a huge difference.
Plus that lineup is sick, the wiiU SHOULD be able to pick up without a price cut, but if a price cut happens it will only sell more.
Something...Something...Games...Something
Price cut and more first party titles saved the 3DS. Same scenario here.
Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8 will be huge next year with a price cut.
It's just that simple.

Is it still being sold at a loss now? Does anyone know?
Bah!
