The donkey kong game that was announced can't be the game they've been working on for 3 years or so. it looks like it even uses the same engine as the original DKCR, and I've been hearing Retro has been hiring a lot of people as of late. and its a 2D game, how hard can it be to make it? it Couldn't have taken them this long to make it. if it was a 3D donkey kong game, that would make more sense.

they must be working on more then one title, they have to be.

Around the Network

I hope so. This one looks like a sequel that started on Wii. As far as I know, they have to teams. Maybe the smaller is working on this.

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I hope they are, DKC wasn't what I was expecting from them. Is there still more to show at e3 in the next few days?

I hope so

Of course they are....

Around the Network

The new DKC doesn't look like it cost them a lot of money and resources to make so yes.

I really really really hope so. When I saw that it was DK i was massively disappointed.

I could've sworn that it was confirmed months ago that they'd split into two teams. Weren't they picking up members from THQ as well?

They hired devs from Naughty Dog and Bethesda.... It wouldn't make sense for a 2D side scroller to have such a great team of ambitious developers...

I'm hoping we will see what Retro is up to....
