But Onimusha Blade Warriors is more his home cause its by Capcom.  And Zero was in that game too!

Unless you're saying all brawl games belong to Smash bros?  Then all of PS All star, that Ninja Turtles brawl one, I dont remember if Spongebob had one...should be on Smash bros too.

But I do get the connection between Megaman and Nintendo as that's where it all began and I agree as the best Megaman games were on Nintendo.

Exactly. Most Nintendo fans back in the day were Megaman fans because the games were so awesome. Same went for Final Fantasy.

I am hoping Zero shows up as a secret character but I will accept Ryu or Pac-Man as well.

Well overall, Final Fantasy did pretty well, if not better, on Playstation than on Nintendo.  Granted FF6 was awesome and FF1 was memorable when it first came out.  But Megaman sucked after it left Nintendo.  All my opinion tho =P

That's true, but it did very well on Nintendo early too, so many Nintendo fans were in fact Final Fantasy fans and vice versa. It was a real shock when the games migrated to non-Nintendo consoles. Though you're right that FF did find a good home in the PS, much of the FF heritage has its roots in Nintendo. So though FF is a bit more grey area, the idea is still true that FF (at least the light warriors or the other FF2-6 characters) would make a lot of sense in a smash game.

That would be pretty cool to see some FF characters in a smash game tho I think Square will just rather do another Dissidia, which if they do I hope it hits home console.

Absolutely. The thing is that one game doesn't exclude the viability in another. The megaman example -> SF x Tekken has Megaman in one form, Smash has him in another. Dissidia has characters in one form, Smash could have them more reminiscent of their 8/16 bit forms. Would be sweet.

megaman was my second favorite series behind zelda until the games started sucking and megman 2 is my favorite nes game....stoked!!!! got two mains now luigi and mega megaman!
