Hm, interesting. Does it keep happening still? If this happens to everyone it might need to be postponed.

I reset my router/modem and moved my Wii U right next to the router, and now it's working again! Will have to play in off-TV mode though, but don't think I can't manage without item spy!

Are you still unable to connect? It would be alright to postpone it to next week if everyone is okay with it. Hopefully yours will work tomorrow so some people can enjoy it this weekend.
