In the Japanese version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Vivian was depicted as a male who identified as a female. It is openly stated in Vivian's character description, which is translated as "One of the Shadow Trio, Vivian appears to be a girl but is really a boy."

I'll concede that in the Japanese version she was a boy, but in the English, Italian, and most other version, Vivian is a girl. I think the true lesson here is...the Japanese are weird.

I guess he would have said so if it was, but the fact that these are 3DS screens makes me wonder if this is a other mode exclusive for 3ds. I certainly hope not.

I know no one really care for the 3DS version of the game as the WiiU's, and they are trying to make ppl want this version as much as the WiiU's, but giving 3DS alot of exclusive modes while WiiU has none is not the way to go.
If they go that way to much, I can already hear reviews say how great the game could be if both version had everything istead of having both game with exclusive stuffs but lacking what the other version has making both version feel like incomplete.
