Bad news is that the 3DS version might limit the number of characters in the game.

"The reality of the situation unfortunately is that there are certain limitations on the 3DS," Sakurai said. The 3DS and Wii U versions of the next Smash Bros will have the same library of characters.

"So we're forced into the situation where we may need to reduce some characters to a certain degree. but we're really working hard in order to include as many characters as possible."

That's bad news indeed. I hope it won't be too limiting, I'd like the roster to grow from Brawl.

Since we're low on updates these days, I thought we could talk about our Brawl mains but in order to keep on topic, I'd like to know what you guys would change from your Brawl mains.

For myself, my main was Peach. She's a mid-tier character but I just love how she fights and you could catch people off guard with her since there aren't that many Peach players around.

First thing I would change for her in SSB4 would be her side-B, Peach Bomber. It's really not good, huge start up time and leaves you vulnerable if blocked, its only practical purpose is for recovery but with float and parasol Peach already has ample horizontal recovery. I would also allow Peach to grab the ledge even when she facing backward with her parasol. I'd also give her better killing power, nothing too much but just a knockback increase on her F-air and maybe have her F-Throw be able to kill like in Melee.

My main was Marth. I never played competitively, so idk what tier Marth is. I humiliated most of my friends with him to the point that I had to restrict myself from playing as him, though.

He definately needs some changes.

1.) Nerf Dolphin Slash - Compared to Melee the vertical height this move covers has been greatly increased. This way you could recover from insane positions and receive a buttload of damage (easily ~200-220% damage if the attack sending you flying wasn't a Smash) before going down. Decrease to Melee levels pls

2.) Shield Breaker - Please change it back to how it worked in Melee. In its current form it is a better move for aerial recovery due to the small horizontal distance it covers than as an offense. The slash just covered a much wider area than the current stab.

3.) Counter - In Melee you were able to change the trajectory of projectiles with this move, which allowed for some devastating combos in Team VS mode. In Brawl they just vanish. Please do a rollback.

I play as Pitt, Ness, Bowser, and Jiggs.... Jiggly Puff is the only chracter that has a chance of not coming back, and I might start playing more as Samus since she seems a lot faster, and Megaman looks awesome.

I hate the idea of cuts though... I really like playing as Wolf from time to time, for instance, but am not a fan of Falco or Fox, so if he is taken out there goes a character I enjoy.

Link, change nothing and you can see me winning major tournaments. I was too young when Brawl came out to go to major tournaments and too poor.

I really hope they add Shulk and maybe even Crono since he debuted on the snes.

My Brawl main was R.O.B. but I also liked Captain Olimar, Pit, Peach, Martha, and Jigglypuff...
Peach is probably the only one I would change...
Give her an actual B move instead of having her hide behind a Toad...
Or at least turn the Toad into Toadsworth...

I was super skeptical about the Wii Fit Trainer but her intro video is beyond perfect. I cannot wait to play this game!

Now I just have to decide if I want to play it on my WiiU or 3DS.
