iclim your ike is very good, remember that match were you kicked my ass so bad, you only died once. as ive said before, your ike is the toughest for me to fight.

a smart ike will over shoot his OVER B or his UP B. since a smart ike knows that that mario wont punish him if he does that.

that opportunity isn't always there.
Sometimes you are thrown way off stage that you can barely make the ledge.
Which Is why I said "Though in hindsight, I guess Mario grabbing the ledge would have been more effective."

I'm thinking of pulling Ike off his shelf and maining him again.

in that SPECIFIC instance.....you are screwed. but the chances of you facing a mario at tournie level.......is slim to none.

tier are just a list of "what character does best against what character". If you want to get good with a BAD character.....go for it. I am. Samus sucks big time. She will most likly be mid or low. Im not sur eif you were big into melee but there was a player named BUM who mained DK. In melee DK sucked hairy wang but BUM went to a torunament and beat Chudat........CHUDAT......CHUDAT IS THE 3RD BEST PLAYER ON EARTH......NOT TO MENTION ICE CLIMBERS IS DKs HARDEST MACTH UP IN MELEE. He also beat Isai, isai is THE BEST C FALCON on earth. So it goes to show that some times a "exception to the rule" is born. You COULD be that person.


Well yeah I have heard of those people, and that is cool, I wish more people would do that^^; it just seems like people do the whole top tier thing a little much, that's why it's really refreshing to see people play other characters^^

I mean, I think it'd be cool to watch a tourny where everyone played with a less tier based mind, and more just a "oh hey, I've always liked Bowser, I'll use him" mindset, or stuff like that. Maybe everyone always liked marth and fox and stuff :3 but it seems slightly unlikely. I probably wouldn't mind tiers so much if they just weren't used so much.

in melee and soon in brawl there will be "low tier tournies". only shity characters are allowed. quite funny.

remember, tier are broken up as follows

Top
High
Mid
Low
Bottom

only low and bottom were allowed in the tournaments. So seeing luigi vs roy or dk vs yoshi was funny to see.

I really need to fix my connection somehow. I'm sure this is not just distance. Already optimized my router to the max... the only thing left is my ISP...

Someone knows if my ISP could be blocking some ports or limiting some protocol? X_X
