That's comical. I bought it specifically FOR playing SSE. I really don't care about playing online. Some night I might get really bored and try it out, PM somebody here on VGChartz and see how that works. I did the evercrack thing and I stay away from online now (not that SSBB is that addictive, or is it?).
I do want to complete the challenges, classic mode and maybe the target thing (althought I think the target thing is kinda dumb). And I'm going to go back and try it on normal for a couple stages and see how it is. Now that I know there is a difference between nuetral A and right A or pressing A while you're falling and fall on an enemy, likewise for B moves. Then if I'm cruising through normal I'll go up to hard and try slogging my way through that.
I remember the game was being criticized for no story. WTF?! WHAT IN HOLY HELL ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT? I'm serious when I say the cutscenes were some of the best I've seen in years, and there are some I believe I'll remember until I really start forgetting everything. It's funny sometimes the things people remember when they get alzheimers. But more about... holy hell, there was some real plot twists and I was quite surprised how things got sorted out. I'm really glad I kept away from any spoilers about SSE.
So, maybe SSE is oriented towards "less-skilled"* gamers like me. I dunno.
