It amuses me how broken some items are in SSBB.  The ray gun and fan can basically kill people practically on their own.

The ray gun was exactly the stupid item that killed me, and I was winning that match too... :( and I hate the fan. More often than not, I like to play without a single (game provided) item. Character provided items (Turnips, Banana, etc.) are another story.

I think most items other then pokely balls smash balls and asits trofys hamers and speed + or - are ok to play with.

Aww... whats wrong with Poke balls? or assist Trophies? normal hammers?? All of these are good items and can be countered or dodged. Mega Hammers, fans, the ray gun, and to a lesser extent smash balls are all very easily abused in the game, to the point where it would make the game broken.

I do not know a poke ball and assist trophie can win a game way too easy may be if they made it so it can be a bad thing that you used the item adding in a bit of randomnes to the widle card items like that. Fans are not too bad better off using them as a rng attk and sammers are death no one want to pick them up you lose when you do.

Assist Trophies are fine until you get the one trophy that talks and blocks the screen. Makes everyone in a 4 person Brawl unhappy.

I got that horrible thing once! He just won't stop talking! That, the Nintendog and the devil that controls the camera focus are sooooo completely annoying for all players. The fans also make me so furious!
