Yea, online doesn't compare to offline. If my work schedule wasn't so horrid I'd be playing offline far more and would probably rarely touch online.

maybe tourney play is the best way for me to enjoy the game then, because I'm getting really fed up with this game right now.

I only play online because it's nice to play with you guys,I am waiting for one of my best friends to get brawl on his birthday so he can practice and we both can get better that's the only way.

Tournaments are where I have the most fun. I've been rather depressed I haven't been able to go to many so far. I've been contemplating holding my own since NE Ohio lacks a decent tournament scene and my house is big enough to accommodate such events.

Why don't you go to tournaments if you leave on the USA aren't there any tournaments on your area?

it's gay how every character in this game has a garbage approach outside of metaknight. If you're not playing him, you better not even think about attacking. All you can do is camp if you wanna have a chance. Don't try and attack. It will just be dodged, rolled, shielded, or escaped.

Pikachu and Peach are pretty good at approaching in my opinion. Can't underestimate the fact that their projectiles travel slow enough that they can chase right behind them. Opponent then has to think, if I dodge the turnip, what will Peach do? If I shield the Turnip, will I be grabbed? If I jump over that thunderjolt how many aerials will Pikachu smack me with?

Peach also has floating approaches, floating at the range of someones head and D-airing them almost always shield pokes and D-air combos into a ton of things easily at low percents.

Meta Knight may have decent approaches but he's not the only one that can do it. You just have to experiment and know how.
