There is only 3 games there that I would want to play and even the FFVII spinoff I'm not looking forward to much any more, I'm really burnt out of FFVII. I really wouldn't call this the year of the PSP if thats all they have coming. =/ I've pretty much given up on the PSP every having a killer year. They might have one or two good games each year but thats about it. Hell 90% of the time it just sits on my bookcase. Its getting less play time then my GameGear did. How did Sony drop the ball so badly with the PSP? They should just allow more ports of PS2 games to show up, at least its something then.

Yeah PSP has lots of great games this year, and for me personally has more games I will get on it than on the DS (this year), but I don't think it's the case for the general public...

I don't own a PSP. I own a DS and can say without bias that this is an impressive list. Like was mentioned before by BenKenobi, I have my dollars going to the Wii and DS games. I am however impressed.

I don't know... a lot of those games are interesting, but not enough to make me want to buy a PSP. I mean, how many remakes of Final Fantasy I and II must I suffer through. I'm sick of Final Fantasy I and II, already. Unfortunately, it's just not a whole lot of NEW content for me to warrant the PSP buy. I mean, God of War looks really interesting, and so does Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles (if only because the SNES Dracula X wasn't the real game), but most of the other games on the list don't appeal to me, and the ones that do are remakes of old classics. And I have to ask myself: is it worth it? I'm sure these ports/remakes have some nice extras added, but it's hard to sell me on ports/remakes. I'm still thinking 2007 will be fairly slow for the PSP.
As much as I like VGChartz, I must be honest. I'm not too interested in the community. Most (I'd say a good 70% of the people here) are too caught up in the fanboyism and politics of gaming, and are mostly just people waiting to ravenously insult another user on the forums. I tried participating in the forums but rather than discuss it seems most of you would rather tear other people down. Why is it necessary to insult everyone who thinks differently than you? Also, not everything here is a fanboy conspiracy. I see the word fanboy here than I do on most forums out there. I'm sorry, I don't want to be a part of a community that's so negative towards everyone all the time. I'd rather go to a place where the people of a forum are more willing to discuss and step away from personal attacks any time someone disagrees with them. I just can't take it anymore.
So I ask, respectfully, that you don't add me. I'll more than likely respond to respectful messages but don't count on me being on the forums too much and don't count on me accepting your friend request.
