It is about the games!.. games I want to own and KEEP forever! or sell it to whom ever!.. or even lend it to friends! you know.. like the usual.

MS made it way too easy for SONY!.. it would have been a dull moment for SONY.. but they were smart to do this!.. =D

as a x360 owner.. Im jumping on board the ps4.

I don't know people on this forum, I really don't. Microsoft shows off multimedia for mind boggling 2 hours, looses e3 because no games. Microsoft doesn't show off multimedia and only games, still looses e3. Really ethomaz, just really.

On the other hand, the launch price of One has outraged me, and despite what looks like better games offerings, the ps4 is set to offer a much better value in my eyes, if is more smartly priced in the UK, I will likely purchase it and skip One. To clarify what I said in the first paragraph, stop being such a fucking hypocrite every e3. Sony will announce plans for world domination and concentration camps at e3 and you'd still chant they won.

Bottom line is, I will be thinking with my wallet this gen rather than acting out of pure fandom as still got PC to play on.

This has been obvious for the last few years.

OT - Sony will regret this decision in a few years imo, they're now committed down the "no DRM" path.  I wouldn't hold out much hope of them staying true to this commitment, much like they were so committed to open hardware (Other OS) last gen until it didn't suit them.

The price was a big win.

Yeah but that will get a free pass too.

just like paying for multiplayer, which was an absolute no way deal breaker yesterday, is now suddenly ok.

I know this is a hard time for x1 fans but can you at least be fair with your comments?

-PS3 online play will still be free, that hasn't changed.

-PSN+ mandatory for online play on PS4 is not a bad deal when you consider that is 50$ per year (4.17$ monthly) and you get next gen racer Drive Club at launch and 3 confirmed indie titles later on (and more to come).

-PSN+ services extend to PS3 and Vita.

Yes it sucks to pay to play online but at least Sony is giving us something in exchange right from the beginning.

I kinda agree that there are at least some free incentives, it still remains to be seen whether they're just moneygrabbing or the crappynetwork will actually see some changes(from my experiences). I hope that they would use the finance to actually improve the network rather than just add an incentive to buy PS+ next generation.

And I mean, yeah, the games are free, but they will only go ahead and take me about 20 hours to download each, going by the download times I've experienced on PS3 before, and that's what I meant they need improvement on, and trust me, it's not my internet.

But it comes down to this: Many a people vowed to never purchase a playstation if they start charging for multiplayer next gen, hence his comment.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

I agree that in the games category MS won but its not like they won by such a huge margin, the ps4 still taots an impressive lineup. Also, the paying for mutliplayer a problem, but the biggest issue with it was that it blocked netflix and other multimedia on xbox while it will not do that on ps4. Add in the no DRM and the ps4 looks like an angel next to the xbox ONE.

OT: they won when showed kh3 for me. They won the gamers over with no DRM. They won almost everyone over with that pricepoint

NICE, too funny :D.

i think Microsoft Fans should be happy about this

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Games games games.

I think only one next gen console won e3 in respect of actual games. Lets be honest here.

You're right. Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15 looked amazing.

While I'm a huge Nintendo fan and I already own a dust-collecting Wii U, I gotta admit... I'm so getting a PS4, day one. PS4 really blew me away!

I'm a bit shocked at the difference. Wouldn't have thought MS would win so clearly.

Strange, I expected so much more from Sony.

I wonder what difference it will make though. I think Sony will by a land-slide thanks to price and no DRM despite not having many games.
