I mean, game/exclusive wise, I thought they had the best overall conference. It was fantastic even. Sony was a bit lackluster, but the no drm and price pretty much destroyed Microsoft imo.

But it's all about the games! Or not? :)

I hope they rot and get the fuck out of the industry.

Usually that would be an easy question to answer, but Sony captured the gamers while Microsoft had more games. It weird really.

If this next gen would end tomorrow, I probably would agree with you but this will be a long battle and what people care about today might not be the case tomorrow. The thing is, can the X1 be that end all device that has great games and great features. Price isn't everything and a lot of people I talk to really do not care about DRM. Its way to early to announce MS demise but I would say that they will have to give up something in order to fight the negative press. Starting games on X1 40 bucks probably would be a good start.

yea, I felt MS had a very good conference, better than Sony's game content wise and game demonstration wise

With the anti consumer DRM crap they're forcing on us? Zero sympathy. They made their own bed, now they have to lie in it.

What is even more interesting to me is Sony BARLEY showed their hand. No second Naughty Dog team, No Santa Monica showing (Ready at Dawn does not count as SSM's game under Stig), No LBP3, No word of Guerilla's Second IP and no mentioned of The Last Guardian - even though the creator said it is done. Clearly they are saving up for later. Sony came out swinging and managed so save their aces, while MSFT supposedly played their best hand. It was well played.

They can't expect everyone to forget everything just because they bought a bunch of games.

They'll get what they deserve.
