Microsoft had a more entertaining conference, but Sony killed them with the used game announcement and the price alone. Everything else was icing on the cake.

Agreed. Even I have to admit, the no DRM stance caught me off guard. They have a form of DRM already on the PS3, so it was by no stretch of imagination to assume the PS4 would follow the Xbox ONE.

Do you think MS knew? Surely EA or another dev pushing the DRM would have said something?

microsoft killed them selfs. Microsoft showed more games. more exclusives and more diversity (well other than the indie games). Sony wasted tons of time showing us games we already seen before. but at the end, all sony had to do was say "no drm, no blocking used games. and 399$" and there you go, they killed MS. the thing is MS could have avoided all this and won by a landslide, but they didnt

Agreed. Sony's event, in terms of presentation, focus, and coherence, was actually inferior to Microsoft's. And there were more exclusive games at the Microsoft event. But Sony made up the difference by passing on the DRM and online connectivity nonsense. Although shame on them for erecting a paywall for online multiplayer.

@everyone saying that Sony won because of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts: aren't those two games multi-platform? Isn't that like saying Microsoft won because of Metal Gear Solid V?

Sony killed Microsoft's butt. Please understand that Sony has been in the long run since 1994, they know how to entertain and make games. Xbox is just a PS wannabe. All I needs is a Nintendo and a Playstation.

I don't want to cause a huge shabang but it is true. I don't care for trophies. Nobody buys a console so they can say "I got trophies durh". Sony was the first overkill console with killer graphics and games. Then here came another dinosaur with 360 that is basically a PS3 made by Microsoft with Kinect. Get real.

I like how you just ignore the other fact :)

I like how nobody gives a care about trophies. I also like how I don't care. The votes speak for themselves bro. Quit being in denial.

I'm still waiting for Microsoft to kill Sony at e3... maybe he meant literally?

If it was a contest Sony won by a small margin but that small margin comes on top of an already steady lead so it will be a significant victory in the end.

Microsofts conference was good, solid, games, but nothing shiny.
Sony's was decent, diverse, lots of multiplats and a kick in Microsofts weak spot, which sealed the deal. Strange actually, technical victory?

I like your response. It's like "Fuck, the majority speak for themselves, so I don't make a fact-based opinion myself; I just follow the group. Anyone who don't follow this path is in denial".

I like to have my own opinion thank you very much. Saying that I'm the one in denial don't add depth to your "arguments".
