Forums - Microsoft - What were the Megatons at MS conference?

I don't think there was any "megatons", the closest one would be Dead Rising 3, but I don't think the franchise is big enough  to be considered a megaton.

I guess the price of the console was the biggest megaton, and not in a good way.

Nothing was a real surprise considering the leaks. Killer Instinct was a nice addition but I'm not sold on the new incarnation. Ryse looked the most promising, really put me in a Spartacus kinda mood (little bit ironic considering the main character's a Roman).

For me it was either Ted Price or Killer Instinct. Dead Rising 3 was nothing for me, the series is weak and it's not a system seller. The series sells worse with each new iteration and the only reason part 1 made it to 2 million in sales was because it was released in 2006 when 360 didn't have a huge library. It's the same with Resistance at the begining of PS3 or Lost Planet for 360.

It was Dead Rising 3 for me. Until the have more info on Forza 5 (more car and features reveals) it is the XBox One game I'm most hyped about at the moment.

Leaks are part of the industry, no surprises so far! The real megaton was the reactions, I expected them to be bad, but they are not! I am baffled.

for me RYSE i love the roman era, but as gameplay when on it looked less impressive.

Project spark, is really interesting. I love LBP and i support any game that allows creativity.

Titanfall is nice i guess.

There is another i keep forgetting.

I was pleasantly surprised by the conference, but punched on the stomach by price.

I am getting a PS4 no questions asked. I am in the market for a second console, but at that price maybe after a couple price cuts. shame :(

They were all heavily rumored so I wasn't shocked at anything. If it weren't for the rumors then I'd say Titanfall, DR3 and Insomniac would have been somewhat surprising.

Metal Gear Solid V and Dead Rising 3, even though we knew about them through rumours or previous announcements

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Forza 5's human-like AI - if that's nearly as good as they are advertising it, that's really, at least for me, a true next-gen feature.
