Forums - Sony - PS4 May just offer gaikai BC free with psplus and that probably makes up for all the ps4 games that would be missing!

Tiers of PS+?

1st time I've ever heard of that. Wonder if they see that LIVE gold make M$ make a profit this gen and follow suit with paying to play online.

I see, yeah it could work for a little while. But like witht the vita, plus wont be offered till late 2014.

Maybe if they have do show full Backward Compatibility and i use it i wont even care what i pay for extended plus services lol!

I think they will implement different subscription tiers. Each will include a different amount of services like TV stuff, access to older games library, Music Unlimited, etc...

All the while, online gaming will remain free. Hopefully.


What this guy said.  Online play will remain free to differentiate themselves from Microsoft, but extra online features will be subscription based.
